World Suicide Prevention Day – 10th September 2019
At a time when the subject of suicide and its enormous impact features in the headlines frequently, this webinar aims to get a deeper understanding of those with suicidal thoughts and the people who support them. Concerned about a family member, friend or colleague? Have you had suicidal thoughts yourself? Facilitated by Zoe Sinclair, these carefully selected contributors to the webinar will offer advice and support in this area.

Paul McGregor
Paul is a mental health author and speaker, who shares his personal experience of mental health. Most notably, losing his Dad to suicide in 2009. He openly shares his personal account of dealing with suicide grief, alongside how mental health can affect anyone. His work has been featured on Sky News, BBC, The Huffington Post and more.
Deborah Dellinger
Following the death of her partner by suicide Deborah felt compelled to share her personal experience with others so that we can help to break the silence and end the stigma that surrounds mental health and suicide. Sharing her story is like therapy and if she can save one life by encouraging someone to open up and talk, then it will all have been worth it
Scott Shillum
Scott founded multi award winning http://www.vismedia.agency in 2001 after a 10 year career working as a Picture Editor on a number of UK national and international publications including ‘The European’ and ‘Sunday Business’ newspapers. He is co-founder of The Photography Movement, www.thephotographymovement.com, a not for profit organisation that aims to spark conversation around mental health and wellbeing through the medium of photography. Scott lost his identical twin brother to suicide in 2015.
