What we do

Employees Matter helps businesses guide their workforce through personal issues that affect their wellbeing, and often impact their working life. Bringing experts across a variety of fields into corporate settings has produced positive and often tangible outcomes.

Some of the most pressing and common issues facing employees in the workforce are medical problems, family matters and diversity issues, which are traditionally left untouched by senior management and seen as matters to be dealt with outside of work.

Research is increasingly demonstrating that lines between work-life integration are becoming more blurred. Companies are beginning to realise that in order to be productive at work, their staff must be healthy and happy in their personal lives.

By enabling staff to bridge the gap between work and life, Employees Matter offers seminars, webinars, workshops, 1-2-1 coaching and provides research-based literature as a means for their wide network of experts to offer their wisdom and practical advice.

The success of these programmes is evident from consistently happy clients, and their routinely glowing feedback.

Case Studies
  • Employees Matter was contacted by a distressed client, reeling from tragic news – an ex-employee had committed suicide. The client was looking for ways to offer comfort to colleagues but didn’t know where to start. The support had to reach senior leaders who historically did not engage with seminars and webinars.

    Employees Matter proposed a 1-2-1 clinic with an experienced cognitive behavioural therapist. The message was transmitted throughout the business, and within half an hour every slot was taken – many by senior leaders. The company was grateful for the invaluable support for its staff, and Employees Matter was satisfied with another successful project, working towards a healthier and happier workforce.

  • Employees Matter was contacted by a company focussing on internal support for staff via webinars, attracting approximately 20 people to each session. They loved the idea of Employee Matter’s offerings but had doubts about investing due to the frequently low turn-out. A pilot of 3 webinars was organised, including sessions on Family Tech, Managing the Pressure Cooker and Healthy Living for Busy People. Supported by a strong marketing campaign, each session attracted between 200-300 sign ups and feedback was excellent. As a result, a programme is now being planned for the coming year.

    Gratifying and rewarding, this success demonstrates how Employees Matter can make a real difference, with an innovative approach to motivating staff through the knowledge that their leaders are placing due emphasis on their personal wellbeing.
